Fully optioned Yukon XL 4x4 with trailering package comes a little under $82k. Actually cheaper than fully optioned Expedition MAX. Good for them for keeping the pricing competitive.

Make sure you're working with a Denali Premium if you want a true apples to apples against the Platinum Expi. That got me up to the $83.5k range. Which could be market pricing for my area vs yours.

Make sure you are using the 6.2L, because the 5.3L is one lazy turd compared to 3.5L Ecoboost!

A build of both expy and yukon(both swb and lwb) in top trims, outfitted exactly the same except for manufacturers exclusive items. Used price neutral colors and rims for them but i wouldnt be surprised if youre locked out of that color when buying a yukon.

The gms undercut the ford by a couple of grand, but the options available are far fewer and its easier to add to the gms price more for accessories etc. I did a build or a tahoe and sub before and pricing really is no different. The denali would offer a heads up display and a load leveling air suspension. Theres nothing the ford offers that gm doesnt. The fords pricing may change come the 21my but oddly the orderguide isnt out yet, its usually out around this time.

If this is true, i doubt this would be a case for the top trim levels. They would most likely do this for the sle(base) trim or with the at4(z71) pkg like they do for the acadia. Gm spent most of their development time and energy specifically for the third row area so why would they then give you an opt to delete it? No other fs suvs but the expy gives you the option to delete the third row, and thats special order fleet models so no reason to believe gm deleting the third row outside of fleet orders as well.
