My Expedition is that Cashmir color and I always thought the blue emblem clashed a little. Plus I'm not the type to leave anything stock...
So I had planned an elaborate tutorial on how to take apart your badge and paint it...
...and in the process I managed to lose the gel portion of the badge.
So I sprayed it with silver Glitterblast from Krylon, painted the raised 'Ford' script in black, then painted a second coat of silver.
Then I mixed up a batch of 2 part clear resin and poured it on. It's not perfect but looks a lot better than stock.
