I'm thinking about gutting the cats until I get the new ones and was wondering how expeditions run with them gutted? Thanks

they make a signal generator to trick the o2sensor makes the truck run good and no light
i dont know what they are called
Should I just put stock ones back on there then? I'm taking the 2 back ones off or leaving them on but gutted.
I have deleted my rear two cats and left my fronts on.... also cut the factory Y and ran true duals to flowmaster 40s.... love it and no problems in over 2 years.. plus sounds sick...lol
We just got this 97 Eddie Bauer Expedition about a month ago and was told that the cats were no good. We got truck towed here and put new batt in and started it and didn't run to good so I changed the plugs, a few coil packs just because a had few new ones here, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, cleaned tb, cleaned the mass air, and a few other thinks were checked and then unhooked the y pipe because truck didn't run right and couldn't drive it because of the way it ran, but it runs without the y pipe but didn't let run to long for the fear of burning a valve. I looked at the converters and noticed that the pass side 2 were gutted and not the drive side. I'm wanting to replace the front 2 and gut the other back one and leave like that, but I don't think the 2 cats that I have here will go in place of the other 2 fronts because they are kinda long and straight. I don't know what to do. I don't know if the front 2 need to go back in same spot near the 02s or what.
of which part of exhaust? the pic shows the cut Y pipe to the rear... I'll have to get some pics of the cat delete... don't have any right now
