May be a silly question but at $18 a pop for these silly proprietary rear wipers just curious but do you find your back windshield to be much less dirty with the side exit?
I notice that the exhaust in the cold mornings we have had recently comes right up to the back windshield.
Thinking the side exit would keep the back windshield a bit cleaner.

I don't notice the rear window of my 17 getting any dirtier than the rear window of my old 05.

For a 2016 or 2017, it's $11.95 + tax...but I'm sure there are coupons/discounts out there to drop the price a little.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...arged,3424225,wiper+&+washer,wiper+blade,8852

And shipping as well came to $16.94 and up to 7 days to arrive from Rockauto for me. Guess I could have used a coupon code and saved 80 cents still not worth it to save a buck, literally.
Amazon was $18.70 nonprime shipping, $20 prime shipped.

Dealership was actually $17.43 after tax and I walked out with it then and there.

I think I’ll see about swapping the arm to use the old style wiper. As the arm was $10 and blade from Wally World was 8.

Do you know the overall length of your 45* elbow??
I have located a 14.5” elbow and plan to use a 12” tip so I have a fair amount of room to adjust the tip to have it exit at the proper spot.

I'm about to do this to my 2016. Question for Expedition Andy: Did you do anything between these two pictures other than install the hanger? It looks like you pulled it outboard about 6" or more. Didn't that torque your existing pipes?

It was actually @J Ski who did the mod.

Hopefully he’ll respond...I’m curious as well.

I don’t think he is around here anymore.

Yes, I see the last time he was on the Forum was May 6th.

Too bad. I'm going to use this mod on my 2017 this weekend. I'll post some pics when I'm finished.

See I don't show up for a couple of months and people get banned and I don't know anything about!:D
Welcome back. Do you have an answer for my question on page 9? I bought a 14" 45 degree elbow, 3" id to od. Thinking a 9" resonator/tip is about right to bring it to the edge of the body.

No. I didn't do this mod. I still have the factory setup. The pipe coming out the back doesn't bother me. If I still own it when the exhaust system goes, I may have as shop change it but for now it's fine.

I’ve been here the whole time did not realize he had been banned just had not seen any posts from him.

Now, I am interested in the reason had some good posts but could be a bit condisending at times.

Crossed a few users and then went after an Admin. Admin banned him for a month and gave him a second chance to which he did the same so he got banned permanently. Many of us tried to warn and stop him but he kept doing it. He always posted good info and tried to help for the most part not a bad dude.....just stirred the pot. Knew his stuff too.

Playground police always baffles me (except when they come down on blatant advertising spam)

Although this forum usually ain't bad about that

Some other places, it's like dealing with 3rd world traffic cop shakedowns
