06/14 - Ford e-mail - Build - ETA Delivery - 07/04 to 07/10 (Dallas, TX).

Another good day over here!! I was week of 6/6. Dealer just reached out to say my Expedition is built and due at the dealership around 7/7 (DC area). I haven't seen an update on the Ford site, but will be checking!

It's great that people are getting built emails. It seems like that most, if not all are Limiteds. Anyone who ordered a Platinum, getting any communication that their vehicle is scheduled for production or built?

Not a thing on my platinum. Ordered in Oct. , still shows in production on ford tracker site but it pulls up in the ford pass app.

Got the email on my King Ranch that to "ensure my total satisfaction" my vehicle would be delayed. It has been built and waiting on transportation for 7 weeks and they just added 2 more weeks which I know will be more. How about to "ensure my total satisfaction" you get me my vehicle Ford??? Just tell the truth. Gee

Well, my 2022 Platinum Max just got a little lighter. They have now removed the hands-free lift gate option. Not sure if this is a permanent removal or just a we-owe for install at a later date. Currently removed:
Multi-Contour Massaging seats - permanent
Active Park Assist 2.0 - permanent
2nd Row Climate Controls - to be installed at a later date
Hands-free lift gate - unknown

Well, my 2022 Platinum Max just got a little lighter. They have now removed the hands-free lift gate option. Not sure if this is a permanent removal or just a we-owe for install at a later date. Currently removed:

The hands-free lift gate change is only the kick sensor under the bumper. It still is a powered liftgate that will be operational, just won't have the functionality for the kick sensor to activate the opening action.

Removing the kick sensor may be a blessing in disguise. It doesn't work properly half the time anyways. I often have to jump out of the way when it either closes on me while I am unloading groceries or opens while I am hooking on a trailer.

Agreed. What I would really like to see is Ford 'remove' the Auto-start-stop and use that chip for the Multi-Contour seats. Alternatively, list available options and the number of chips available and let me pick which options - i.e. there are 8 options and you get 5 chips, pick the 5 options you want.

It's killing me that I still can't delete the Auto Stop/Start on the 304A Stealth Performance Package. I keep hoping they're going to run out of chips for that and delete it.

After months of being passed over I switched from platinum to limited performance in March. As soon as I switched my order started moving and was built May 31. Good luck.

I spoke to my dealer (304A built May 31) I was assured that it would show on the sticker if it had been deleted.
