Hello folks. I got the email saying my expo stealth is built and going to be shipped soon. Question, I looked at my sticker that I can finally see and it has a cpl credits. One for 2r climate control l/ht seat delete and one for hands free lift gate removal. Is this because it is missing the chips for these things to be functional? Will the dealer install these things at a future date? Thanks for any input. View attachment 73932
If you didn't figure it out yet, you WILL have rear A/C functionality from the main control unit. The chip missing will just not allow the A/C to be controlled from the rear seats until the chip is retrofitted. I've read you will likely NOT get the automatic rear entry, which many seem ok with. If you don't know, this feature is where you kick your foot behind the car and, if its unlocked and/or you have your key fob in your pocket, will open the back door without hands. Some dislike this feature for towing. My wife's vans have had this feature forever and we rarely, if ever, use it. It's not flawless and generally easier to open in with your hand or the key fob prior to approaching it if you want it hands free.

I ordered a limited max in February. Got an order confirmation but never a build date. Dealer says he sees priority codes on my order - which doesn’t seem like it means anything. Losing hope. Anyone else in a similar situation?

What trim code of limited did you order? Specific order date? Many of us that ordered last week of January / first week of February finally got our build dates for first week of august so you are probably coming up next. BOF shows no scheduling this week so you probably won’t hear anything for a bit still. Production was extended to November for 2022MY, I’d be optimistic you would hear something soon for a late august build.

I ordered a Platinum in March. I got a confirmation of the order, but nothing else...VIN...build date. I've been very picky on the feature removals. I DON'T want to go without Park Assist 2.0, Rear Climate/Radio Controls, third row recline, signature/daytime running lighting, and cross traffic alerts. My dealer hasn't removed the things that Ford wants to remove, in order to schedule and build. I only OKAY'd the Multi-contour seat and stop/start removal. I want everything else. After all, it is a Platinum.

I ordered on 1/25. Limited max stealth. No build date for myself either.... I called Ford last week and they were no help. They just said it’s a “high demand vehicle” and that they “apologize for the wait time“.

how is that possible? I ordered mine 6 months before you did, and you will get yours before me? WTF is wrong with FORD?
Your dealer could have fought for you to have a higher priority in the system. After about a month, my dealer convinced Ford to move my 2/15 order to priority 02. I'm currently in production.

Priority codes only apply to the dealer’s own orders.
A priority 2 or 9 or 19, means nothing when comparing across all dealers and orders.

I'm definitely in trouble then. My order sheet shows priority 19. I'll probably never get mine.

I order 302A Limited Max confirmed on 2/14. Thanks for your reply. Gives me more encouragement that they’ll get to me eventually.

Between this car and the lightening, patience is my middle name.

Ours just moved to production and I have window sticker(s) now. Both are identical (story below) and in addition to the Auto Stop-Start Removal that we selected, it looks like we are only losing the Hands Free Liftgate (and saving $55; gee, thanks, Ford).

Both are identical - Limited Max 4X2, 302A, HD Trailer Tow, CCD w/susp road preview, Advanced Cargo Manager. No 15" screen.

The one I actually ordered was confirmed on 2/18 and via email on 4/7 was scheduled for production the week of 6/20. No further email, but showing in production today and window sticker visible for the first time. As for the second, when I was calling to check prices, a dealer near me placed an order without my permission or consent that was confirmed via email on 2/11. He was supposed to just be providing a price. He did that, too, and it's almost $2500 higher than the dealer I did order from about a week later. Interestingly, the email for this one came in a few minutes later on 4/7 stating a production week of 6/20. Despite being ordered a week earlier, it has a VIN with a higher number than the later ordered one. I guess it was the priority code or maybe the pull of the dealer. I had considered trying to contact Ford and cancel the one I didn't want to place, but it was suggested on here to keep it just in case. The dealer didn't seem to care when I told him I was going with someone else for a better price. He'll just sell it on the lot and knows it will sell, but it irks me still. Just doesn't seem right.

Just an update on my Limited 304a. Ordered on 3/10, scheduled for Production week of 6/13, got an email on 6/20 that the Exp was built, scheduled to be delivered 7/10-7/16.

My 1/24/2022 order was always priority code 19, it arrived at the dealer this AM, Ford tracking still shows it as shipped, ordertrack app shows delivered, go figure. Priority code does not mean much in today's manufacturing world. Instead, they try to build the orders they have parts for, so they can ship out as many as possible. The more options, the more chips and parts it takes, the less options, the less parts and chips it takes. It really is that simple.

My order specs from start to pictures taken earlier today can be seen here:

I called Ford customer service twice, the dealer twice during the whole process after placing my order.

Your order, and your experience may differ.

That makes sense, but my data point must be an outlier. I have an XLT that's stuck in chip hold. It doesn't even have PCMs listed in the as-built data.

How is your Expedition spec'd out?

1/24/2022 order acceptance date.
Mine as a standard length XLT:
Color: Iconic Silver
Black Active X seats
2nd row power bench (2nd row Captains chairs now standard)
202A equipment group
HD Tow package
Auto start-stop delete
50T package

Color and options can be the outlier between my build and yours
Sames goes for your order date and initial confirmation email from Ford.

Granted I ordered using Fords "X" plan, but to be quite honest, that did not affect the order in which my truck was built, nor did my Priority code from start to finish of "19". Conversing with people on the line, it really was a matter of what parts were in stock that day and shift that caused one order to be built vs another, why, because right now, there are over 50,000 assorted Ford vehicles that are in holding lots awaiting various bits and pieces to be delivered from various vendors/suppliers so they too can be shipped out to their respective owners/dealers

As of today, the PCM's do not show up on mine, and the Ford tracker still shows the car in transit.

SPP 304A build week of 6/20 slow approaching. Marketing now tells me that's been refined to a specific build date of 6/26.

I haven't read that last few weeks of posts on here yet, but what kind of time frame are we seeing between build date and taking delivery in a major metropolitan area, like DFW?
I don’t want to get your hopes up but it only took the train 5 days to get from the KTP to the UP railyard in Mesquite, TX. From there, my car sat at the railyard for 10 days before being delivered. Granted, this was back at the beginning of May when Ford wasn’t back logged with getting cars on trains.

Maybe it's the panoramic roof and SE package? No idea.
