I think order date may really be blend date.I just used that one and got new info. Shows in production with order date of this past Thursday…I’m guessing that is the date it went into production? Also able to see the sticker. So progress![]()
Yes, I have. It works, I was just hoping I could get on the ford tracking app to see if they have posted the production date on the tracker.Have you tried Ordertrack.app ?
No update, mine has been on a chip hold since 3/24. Nothing says that these coming off the line now won’t just be stored too. We just have to wait and see. I’ve contacted my GM from my dealership as well as Marketing, and no one has answers or updated ETA. My dates are still 4/23 to 4/29. Some say that’s delivery, some say that’s for the chip hold to be fixed. Who knows. Fords communication sucks. I’m waiting to see what happens by Friday, which would be the 4/29 date.
good luck… mine has a ETA of 4/9 I was told that was when the chip would arrive. No updates since and nobody can seem to update the ETA.No update, mine has been on a chip hold since 3/24. I originally ordered a regular and a week later changed mine to a max. I ordered back in October so before they were even being built. So I don’t know if it changed where I was in line but I know you can change things as long as you don’t have a vin yet. At this point my stance is, if we are waiting as long as we are, get what you want. Since I was changing sizes I did have to do another order.I’m sure this question is best answered by my dealer, but thought I would ask here first in case anyone has done this before. If I were to change my order from a Platinum Max to a Limited Max, do I have to put in a all new order? I was just wondering because I know I’m allowed to change things on my order like paint, interior options, ect. But, I wasn’t sure if a major change like an entire trim level was allowed. I’m asking because I was thinking maybe I could keep my place ”in line” instead of moving to the back. It probably doesn’t work this way but thought I’d ask. Thanks.
I believe you can make changes up until the vin is issued.I’m sure this question is best answered by my dealer, but thought I would ask here first in case anyone has done this before. And that’s another question I need to ask my dealer. Also, do you get the old price or have to pay the new price. I believe all Expeditions went up about $,2400 plus the destination fee went up a $100.
If I lose my place in line and have to pay more for less, I'm out.
So for those who have an unscheduled order (Limited in my case), do we have to go back to the dealer and have the recently pulled items deleted (park assist / rear climate controls) in order to be scheduled?
From my understanding of the note from Ford, and from talking to my dealer, yes, you must have your dealer remove those options in order to get scheduled. When I visited my dealer Friday afternoon, it showed the 57C removal option on my order.I have a loaded limited as well. I asked my dealer, sent all the notes from Ford, and this is the reply I got from my dealer:
Not scheduled yet, those are options that come with packages. I cannot remove them, Ford should be doing that automatically.
For those saying the dealer must actively remove them to get scheduled, what does the dealer need to do exactly? Enter the code provided -- is that 57c?
I ran into the same issue. I went there to remove the massaging seats and they said that they didn’t have that code yet (88R). They also said that up until now ford has been removing options automatically and the build sheets show the credits. As of Friday my build didn’t have any options removed. And that’s another question I need to ask my dealer.
I’m also pretty sure that I am not going to be part of the scheduling that’s happening this week. As was stated a few days ago, anyone who has the platinum with the massaging front seats must have those deleted before your order will be scheduled. Well, on Friday afternoon, my dealer still didn’t have the code available to get those seats deleted.
I wouldn't advise changing your model from Platinum to Limited Stealth. You should stay in the queue if you want to see your vehicle this year. Plus, it is probably price protected if you processed your order prior to 4/14/22.I ran into the same issue. I asked to be changed to a Limited Stealth Performance but he said that my platinum was in “order preview” which means that there is a good chance it will be scheduled soon. He recommended not to change anything with the original order, but instead to put in a new order and just see which gets picked first and go from there.
That’s funny, because if you have the HD Tow, that removes the Active Park Assist. So, if that’s true, mine, as well as others, and probably sitting there for no reason. Just like other people said, eventually they will get to those vehicles and only then realize that some of them were indeed complete and could of been shipped. My dealer has no answers and have no heard anything. I spoken to all the way up to the GM who runs multiple dealerships. It’s all a joke.My production date was 3/18, and like you, delivery date was 4/6, and it is in chip hold. A week ago I was given the same information concerning the 6 week completion date. My husband called this past Friday, and he was told that my vehicle is on chip hold because Ford does not have the chips for the park assist feature, and FMC sent letters to the dealers to give customers the option of removing the feature. However, he was told that if you select to remove the park assist, you will lose the entire package. My husband called our dealer, and our sales man knew nothing about the park assist issue. Needless to say, we are fed up with the entire situation. My husband has a meeting on Monday with our salesman and the manager to find out what is truly going on. Marketing told my husband that the park assist chip issue has been known since the end of March. Who is telling the truth?
I did not order my vehicle with the HD Tow. It seems as though the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. That’s funny, because if you have the HD Tow, that removes the Active Park Assist.
