That's what I had thought too, but someone had told me you pay the higher one. Google shows it's your home state like you said, so it wouldn't be too bad then. I did contact them about it, but they aren't accepting X Plan right now, so it's still worth it to wait on my ordered one for now.

I'm giving up hope... ordered Platinum 4x4 Dark Matter/Carmelo on 2/1. Still crickets. With the talk of removing the massaging seats and climate control (even with the chip install at a later date) I don't know I want to pay Platinum price with a few of the options being stripped. Been checking inventory around for maybe a KR or Limited.
I gave up on my platty that I had on order. Due to the stripping of features combined with indefinite delays, I settled on a loaded limited 4x4, got it last week from local dealer. I found it through the ford model search function. Not my color of choice but it was available. The dealer didn't even know it was on the way until it showed up, but I knew it was on the way to them thanks to the order tracker so I was able to snag it. Personally, If the KR didn't have the W throughout the interior, I would have gone that route, it's averse to my personal taste preference (I also don't particularly like the platinum embellishment either, but can tolerate that one).

02/26/2022 - Ford Tracker "In Production".
02/26/2022 - Window sticker became available. Invoice date 02 25 22.
03/18/2022 - Ford tracker "In Production 03/18/2022".
03/24/2022 - As Built module data now appears.
04/30/2022 - Midday, Ford Tracker still "In Production 03/18/2022". But the Order Tracker status changed to "Picked".
04/30/2022 - Evening, got email from Ford "YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN BUILT", soon after Ford Tracker updated to "Built 04/30/2022". Email from Ford included "Our current estimate for delivery to (my dealer in Michigan) is between May 11, 2022 and May 17, 2022"

This is almost the exact same timeline for my 2022 XLT 202A 4x4. However I placed my order on 10/25 and mine is still stuck showing "In production" since 03/17, as of this morning. I was told by dealership about 2-3 weeks ago it would be delivered by 04/28, after delivery date was changed from early April due to "chip hold". As of last Monday I was told it still has a "chip hold." No one has any idea when it will be delivered.

11/24/2021 - order confirmed 2022 Limited 4x4, Stealth Performance Pkg, HD Tow, CCD w/ sport suspension, Controltrac/3.73, 15.5" screen
2/3/22 - First email from Ford with a scheduled build date of week of 3/7/22
multiple emails from Ford pushing date back, most recent was 3/11/22 email with build date of week of 4/25/22
5/1/22 Vehicle has been built email
5/2/22 Vehicle has been shipped email, estimated delivery to Oklahoma dealer 5/23-5/29
2/3/22 - First email from Ford with a scheduled build date of week of 3/7/22

I never received an in production email oddly enough. Just the scheduled email several weeks prior, followed by the completed email.

What is the date on your window sticker next to the special order box? I went into production the same week as you (my date shows I actually went into production on 4/22) and my car still isn’t built. Starting to get a little worried
After reading posts on the HD tow pkg, I added it to my order for my platinum. Asked them for an update (ordered 2/21 from Granger).
They said I am at a priority 19. There is one other Expedition in front of me who has not received a VIN.
I've also told them I'm not willing to drop the mcs or other options, so we'll see

I just downloaded the window sticker to copy/paste the date. Where it says 5/2/22 at the bottom previously said 4/25/22 a few days ago when I last viewed it (this was before I got my "vehicle has been built" email on Sunday 5/2/22).
Oddly enough the tracker infographic doesn't show it as shipped, but i did get an email saying it had shipped with a delivery date estimate. I also don't see any shipping info on the ordertrack.app website (all the shipping info fields are blank).
