Ha Ha, that's how my first box was! Why a delivery driver would deliver a box that says it's weight is 40 lbs but it's blowing around in the wind (saw it on a camera). Then you get a empty cardboard box.

Or, I'm just a lucky SOB!I ordered both rear and front sway bar from Summit Racing on April 2,2021. Received rear sway bar on April 11 (supposed to be April 8 but was delayed in shipping/FedEx) with front sway bar expected April 20. Front has since been changed to May 15 and now, I just checked, May 3, 2021. Sounds like Summit has some internal issues regarding orders. In the "old days" they would have said your order fell behind the file cabinet. Not sure what they say now....

Only have the rear bar in at this time but that alone makes a major change in handling on curves. I was slowing way down going into a round-a-bout because of the handling. One day (pre rear sway bar) I "dove" into the round-a-bout because of a short opening in traffic and thought I was going to lose control making it through. No such problem now! I do still feel the front end being a little sloppy so I'm still looking forward to installing the front sway bar. Rear is huge difference.Well, out of curiosity I re-ran my FedEx tracking number. FedEx is now showing me all the stops the damaged boxes are making on their way back to Summit. Here I was thinking I was getting progress reports on a reship. Who can tell how this will end...will I eventually receive the same two bars, re-packaged; or be put back to the end of the waiting list and maybe be scheduled to receive them in September or sometime like that. After all this **, i sure hope that they're worth all the hassle.

Might try calling Summit and asking them what the heck?
The rear tail wag is exactly what the problem was for me. I just found the need to compensate for what felt like a rear end wanting to slide out one way then another. Has me even more excited for the front sway bar. I always did like twisty roads, maybe I'll be looking for some new routes soon.....Honestly the rear sway bar didn't help my cornering much. The front sway bar made all the difference. It could just be because they were BOTH done then, but thats what I found. The rear simply ended all the stupid side to side bobble-head BS and rear tail wagging sway that made you puke.

I ordered both bars on April 12th from Summit and just received a tracking update this morning that my rear bar will arrive April 28th.
That's a lot earlier than the original estimated ship date. No update on the front. I'm looking forward to my empty boxes![]()

Still waiting on the front bar but the rear is installed. The packaging was decent.
I did it in the garage without ramps or jacks. It was straight forward. I wasn't able to get a torque wrench on the endlinks so I just made sure they were tight.
I did notice when taking off the OEM parts that the passenger endlink was a lot more loose than the driver's side.
The truck handles like it should have from the factory. I put the transmission in ECO mode with low RPM's so I could hear everything and was able to navigate roundabouts just like Sport mode. No strange clunking or squeaking but I'm sure squeaking will develop as the grease dissipates. Nothing unusual for this install.
Looking forward to the front.![]()
Good for you. As I posted earlier, my order from Summit made it as far as the local FedEx truck on its way to my house when it was determined that BOTH packages had to be returned to the shipper in Ohio. Ten days later they arrived back at Summit and no one there seemed able do anything about it. Said I would have to go to the end of the order line again (and there were eighteen orders already placed). I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that a "manager" would contact me within 24 hours...that was one week ago and no call. I was hoping that they cared enough about treating a customer fairly, but obviously not. If I had to go to the start of the waiting list again, I went with another vendor. It is one I've never used before so I won't comment on where until I know how they operate and how long I'll have to wait. Using a credit card will protect me in any event. As for Summit, stick a fork in me, I'm DONE.My rear bar was well packaged and the box was in good shape. The front bar was hanging out of a hole in a mangled mess of cardboard.![]()
As a Summit customer over the last decade they're hit or miss. From a warranty perspective they've been good to me.Good for you. Honestly, the FRONT helped my handling 3X as much as the rear did. The rear stopped the sway, the front made it really corner flat, which I love!
Just drove 300 miles on roads in pretty much every condition.
Smooth road surfaces and corners are night and day better.
Surfaces with small to moderate imperfections are more jarring. Comfort is proportional to the imperfection.
Really rough surfaces aren't ridiculously bouncy like before but they can be very jarring. The bar feels like it's mitigating a lot of the suspension travel, which is by design.
For those on the fence trying to decide if it's worth it, highway driving and good roads make this a no-brainer. Buy the rear bar and don't look back.
If you live in a state like mine with 3rd world roads, understand you'll be giving up comfort for more control.
I'll post back after adding more miles later this month. Hopefully the front bar will arrive in a week. If so, I'll add it to the discussion after my 600 mile trip.
