Enterprise truck rental specifically rents 3/4 and 1 ton's just for towing
Ordered February 18, Built May 10, delivered to dealer finally July 18. 5 months I guess I should feel lucky? King Ranch and while the process is so frustrating and flawed, I must say the vehicle itself is quite awesome. This is our 5th Expedition but first in several years. My wife is thrilled with it so all good. Hope this supply chain stuff is over soon.
I have FINALLY been scheduled for production for September 12th. I have my VIN and order number and can see my order in on the tracking website, but when I select to view my window sticker, it hasn’t been generated yet. How long does it usually take after scheduling for the window sticker to show up?
won't show up until a few days before the build date. I'm scheduled next week, still waiting on my build day and no sticker yet.
It'll probably populate the Thursday before production.

Did everyone receive their build date from dealer, and/or Marketing? Is build date populated anywhere else?

Its really nice to see a pretty healthy payload on it still, matching previous years.
This is a MAX 303a whose window sticker shows 9-NORMAL at the top left.
It has been "In Production" for quite some time but today the date finally showed up. Window sticker has always been available since I've been tracking it which is like 2 weeks.
I don't have email notification on it since this is a dealer ordered unit but I've just been tracking it everyday.
At this point, the "modules" from the ordertrack.app site showed up with a huge list of stuff I don't understand. Very exciting hehe.
Yea, I saw a new one at Tysen's parked out far.

Hi all, new to the forum, but not to Expys. Ordered a 501A Timberline, tow package, and second row bench on 2/19, it has shipped and eta between 8/3-8/9 according to ordertrack, fingers crossed. Hands-free liftgate removal was added, but didn't really care about that to begin with.
No, went to pick it up but the incentives were taken or something so I walked out. Was informed today that they would honor the incentives and then work it out with corporate. May go pick it up tomorrow or wait for a diesel Denali.
Ordered 11/1, 304a Stone blue, just picked it up yesterday. Long wait.
Initial impressions are good. I’ll drive it a week then post more on what’s working and what isn’t.
As for the wait, my sales guys were happy to have it delivered, he showed me (according to him), ~25-30k in commissions he’s missing out on himself personally because bronco, maverick, expeditions, etc are all not coming in. He’s got a stack waiting with no ETA, and others built offsite, small handful shipped. They only get paid after the truck is transferred to the new owner.
The owner said ford is currently taking notes from Tesla and might revise their model to be more “dealer show room is a delivery medium with a few examples you can sit in and drive, but orders are online at MSRP, like Tesla.” Who knows. Dealers have a lot of political pull. So we’ll see.

2/8 - Requested X plan pricing from a local dealer
2/10 - Received quote and was not happy with pricing. Began contacting other dealers for competitive pricing and received better prices almost immediately.
2/11 - Email saying First Order confirmed by local dealer (without permission/request). Informed local dealer would not be purchasing unless price was lowered. Came down some, but ultimately received a better quote from another dealer a short drive from us.
2/17 - Placed Order with second dealer that offered better X plan price by about $2500 initially, although first dealer later reduced to just under $2k more
2/18 - Email that Second Order confirmed
4/7 - Emails for both orders saying they are busy working to get into production, will keep us updated, etc.
4/28 - Email for Second Order arrives saying scheduled for production the week of 6/20, VIN assigned ending in 2795.
4/28 - A few minutes later, email for First Order arrives saying also scheduled for production the week of 6/20, VIN assigned ending in 2856.
6/22 - Checked tracker and both shown in production. Window stickers available and identical. In addition to the Auto Stop-Start Removal that we selected (-$50), we lost the Hands Free Liftgate (and are saving $55; gee, thanks, Ford).
7/1 - Email that First Order, 2856, is built.
7/1 - Email that Second Order, 2795, did not go into production due to supply chain delays and will keep us updated.
7/2 - Email that First Order, 2856, is shipped. Estimated arrival at dealer given as 8/1 to 8/7
7/21 - Logged in to tracker and Second Order, 2795, is marked built. Window sticker no longer available for some reason.
7/22 - Email that Second Order, 2795, is built. A few hours later a second email arrived saying it is shipped. Estimated arrival at dealer given as 8/5 to 8/11.
7/25 - Window sticker for Second Order, 2795, again available and nothing appears to have changed from a quick review.

I've always been curious, were you not at the dealer, sitting with the general sales manager (you would need a print out of your Ford PLAN pin) when they logged in to the "PLAN" quoting site on Fords server? Did you not get a printout of that quote, and subsequent order? When it comes to plan orders (A,Z,X), the dealer is just a vessel that inputs what you want, takes a deposit, and then awaits the delivery, where they can then offer you the "upsale" speech with the F&I manager. The printout has, in this case, all three plan prices at the bottom. This, is what you are paying with the plan you are entitled to. Seems to me you did not do any of what I posted at the start, but perhaps made a call, or sent an email, and did not sit down face to face. For me, I tried with the first dealer, closer to home, and someone who has serviced my Fords in the past, the sales force declined to take the X-Plan order, even though it is an easy 8% to them, and does not affect their number of order slots that they can place. 2nd dealership, I was in and out from the time I walked in, to the time the order was placed in the system, and a deposit taken in the back office, in under an hour. I did call the next day to modify with the addition of the 50T "Special Edition" package, which added a few more items for SWMBO, but even that, over the phone, took all of 5 minutes to accomplish.
Mine delivered 2 days shy of 5 months (ordered less than a week earlier than you) from my initial order, I now rolled over 600 miles this AM, and I am quite pleased.

I don't know . But latest I heard is that there is some water transport involved !!! Go figure. I heard that there is some port blockage in California and only 2 ports are open. And Ford stopped sending any new expeditions to california between July 7 and July 31.
I don't know what to believe.
