Put a sticker on the rear hatch. Normally I don't do stickers, but this local brewery makes such good beer, I needed a sticker.

I've been made a cash offer on my expy. the guy wants to buy her for $2300. No ac. cloth interior and she has some front cosmetic damage. If I do decide to go through with it I am looking to buy another expy. but I don't know what I can get with that kind of cash. also..I keep seeing TONS of failed transmission expeditions on Craigslist.

was considering that. thing that worries me is I KNOW my expedition as far as owner history (prev owner had her for for 11 years and had most/all receipts). getting another one would mean risking getting another that will need more work than mine did. I'll take a quick look to see what's out there.

$2300.00 for a 97 xlt with 4.6 I would take that offer in a heartbeat and get something newer with A/C that works

Even though this is an offer I Might not get again, I don't believe I will take it. I will get the ac working soon. just gotta source the parts then flush/vac/charge. as far as age goes, she is in good hands. I've done most of the maintenance save for the trans fluid and rear diff fluid. but that's gonna happen in the later spring. I've become somewhat attached to this truck. perhaps it's from having saved her from a scrap yard. it's a tough call. but I believe that keeping her will let me learn more. plus, she seats 9 people.

Today It seems that the decision not to sell has been good.

Today I learned how to remove body panels and how to align them. I found for $200, an ac compressor, the manifold to it. a front bumper and both fenders. one was damaged but seems to be recoverable unlike mine.

I have made an album with before and after pics. Next weekend I hope to have the ac system cooling :D

Facelift!

I got my new headlights today! :pepper:
Only took about 30 minutes during my lunch hour to get them installed. Planning on waiting until it gets dark to do the alignment.

Here's a couple pics for your enjoyment!

Now I am just waiting on the Amazon shipping network to deliver my crystal lens foglights.
