Just looked at Ford's May Expy sales. Like 4,440 units sold last month. That's roughly 1/3 of what the plant was set to produce. So maybe another 8,000 units added to the pile of unfinished ones from previous months. There must be 25,000 - 30,000 Expeditions by now sitting around in lots around Kentucky. Including my October order built in March that is estimated in August now. I'm not sure that date is believable either. Oh, and effective 6/1, new Expy prices go up $425. Maybe that extra $425 will help cover the chip/wiper supplier capacity, shipping and labor to finish our orders.

Same here. We ordered in November. Ours is sitting out there somewhere too.

I'd abandon the order if I had another option. This is beyond crazy. We really need a new vehicle, our oldest vehicle needs quite a few repairs.

My KR was built 3 weeks ago and sticker says Convoy but while at the dealer yesterday they checked and it is sitting in Shelbyville KY with "Delay Rail Carrier" noted beside it. This cannot be that hard. I am a Ford guy but come on guys.

You have got me worried now... I have build date of 6/6 and the link in the e-mail from Ford shows the current status as "Your order is being manufactured at one of our factories. This can take a few days. When you have a moment, tryout the link to your Window Sticker that is now available lower on the page." But the link to the window sticker stills says that the window sticker is not available. Are all just checking for the window sticker on the ford page link, or do you have somewhere else where you are checking?

The Ford website shows the same status for me.

Others are using this app: https://ordertrack.app/

It is aggregating data from several sources into one dashboard.

Is there a way for myself to track a dealer order that I am purchasing? I have the VIN. Thanks.
I’m wondering the same thing! I put a down payment on one that is dealer order just like what I ordered and it is built and in transit, they gave me a date of 6/1-6/18 for delivery. Mine is on chip hold until 8/14

All hope is not lost!!! Ordered Limited Stealth appearance, HD tow, with Sync 4a on November 2. Waiting on chip hold since March 24. Today it updated to built and awaiting shipment!
I believe a lot of those on chip hold (mine included) are getting moved to built pretty quickly. The wait now is awaiting shipment. Mine has been awaiting shipment for 2 weeks today. Shipping by convoy 5 hours away. The status on ordertrack says “picked” meaning it’s been assigned but not yet to dispatched.

My 11/15 order is still on hold since 3/30. Maybe someday…

It sucks because between my two boys and two Great Danes, we can’t all fit in our 18 Explorer. Especially with bags or anything to go away for a weekend. Hopefully the Expedition will come before the Explorer has a chance to grenade its PTU.

From Blue Oval Forums, next week's scheduling. Not looking too good, since it seems that there will be NO SCHEDULING next week for the forward looking weeks. Last week's scheduling was for the week of Monday, July 25th. So, the next week's scheduling would have been 8/1/2022. Job#1 for 2023MY is 9/15/2022, which is about 6 weeks out from 8/1/2022. I know we were told that accepted orders for MY2022 would be built, but I'm wondering if that is indeed the case. The 2023MY Order Guide is due out on 6/15/2022. I heard from a reliable source that the content and features will be very limited for Job#1.....worse than 2022. So the features that have been removed in MY2022 due to commodity/chip restrictions won't even be included in Job#1 MY2023. I think it is going to get worse before it gets better.

The next step would be taking doors out?

My bet is 23 at this point, since 22 and 23 at this point seems similar in restriction.

Wait few weeks the depreciation will be lower than a resale value from moving to a 23

What region is this scheduling sheet from? I was told it depends on what region/plant makes a difference as to what is scheduled.

The info they share on blueovals is for all regions as it ties directly from a main scheduling report. All lines look to be impacted next week for scheduling so it isn’t surprising, especially since they have been doing clean up scheduling for July 18/25 for the last couple weeks. Also they seem to only schedule out 6 weeks ahead so I don’t expect them to do any expedition scheduling till June 20th.

For those scheduled the week of 6/6, I just got word from my dealer that my Expedition is already in production so ahead by a couple of days. Let’s hope this trend continues until I have it in my possession!!

All Expeditions are produced at Kentucky Truck Plant. The scheduling sheet is not region specific, unless it is noted for a specific region.
